The Tavern
You awake in a bustling tavern. You glance across the table at another adventurer, no doubt also hoping to slay the dragon you’re after. They look like they have been on this journey before, but you will embark today and have a simple decision to make.
Will you go alone or together?
Echo Cliffs
Alone Together it is! Perhaps you will run into the other adventurer again later. You pack up the few things you brought and begin your trek towards the legendary Echo Cliffs.

Although you came with a partner, you are briefly separated as the two of you attempt to traverse the winding mountain paths. You find yourself lost, and decide to call out in case anyone is nearby. You find yourself lost. Suddenly you hear a faint call through the fog. "Where do I go?" "I’m lost!" "Is anyone out there?" You are unable to find your partner. Suddenly you hear a faint call through the fog. "Where do I go?" "I’m lost!" "Is anyone out there?" You check your map and see three options.
You yell out towards the fog-covered cliffs:

You hear a faint call back through the fog. "Where do I go?" "I'm lost!" "Is anyone out there?" You can’t tell if what you heard was an echo or another solitary traveler, You listen, but no further sound emerges from the mountains ahead. You begin to wonder if you imagined the whole thing, so you decide to continue on, into the mist.

You’re still lost, and now you are beginning to suspect that you might not be alone in the mist. Unfortunately, this idea is not as comforting now as it was before. You see two threatening red eyes and flee.

The path is treacherous and unsightly, but gradually you find your way through the echo cliffs. As you traverse the difficult terrain, you can't help but feel there might have been an easier path to take.

You hear a faint call back through the fog. "Head for the mushroom forest crystal tunnel wisp river ." Perhaps it was your partner! And at any rate, some direction is better than none.
You yell back at the foreboding mist, newly reassured:

You find your partner from before, and together you appreciate the beauty of the mushroom forest crystal tunnel wisp river you’re traveling through as you continue on your quest.
The Dungeon
You reach the dungeon at last, creeping up to the entrance past the remains of fallen adventurers before you. You have a bad feeling about this...

As you sneak through the entrance, you misstep, making a loud sound that echoes through the halls ahead. You suddenly see two red eyes, belonging to a monster unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Does it look… familiar?

You quickly realize that the monster seems hurt, trapped by a fallen pillar.
Do you help him?

The monster hesitates as you free him, but flees without attacking. The monster watches you leave, but you see sorrow in his eyes.
Lava Bridge
You freeze at the end of the hall. One more step and you would have landed in a vast lava moat. There is a bridge, but you realize that it takes two to operate, and it appears that in order for one to continue across, the other person needs to remain on this side of the moat. You encounter another adventurer who, also alone, cannot get across without help.

You are met once again with your first choice. Will you go alone or together?

After working together to raise the bridge you, alone, reach the other side. You glance back in shame at your partner, leaving them behind. You You throw a rope to your partner. It takes much of your strength, but you hoist them up to join you just as the bridge falls. Together, you continue on towards the highest tower, almost hidden in all the smoke coming from it.
The Dragon
Just as you reach the first step to the tower ahead, the dragon bursts forth, sending flames straight towards you. Your life flashes before your eyes as you cover yourself from the fire.

You even think back to the beast you encountered; how you felt no mercy and left felt pity and freed him.

Your companionship has paid off, and those you’ve helped are here to fight by your side. Perhaps if you had not come alone you might have prevailed.

You defeat the dragon and take 50% of the gold you and your partner find. Although you fight valiantly, you barely escape with your life. You climb out from beneath the rubble. and are greeted by the monster you freed earlier, who is waiting with a small pouch of gold for you.
The Road Home
Packing up what you have, you begin the trek home. It seems easier now that the worst is behind you. Although you rarely see him, you can't help feeling like somewhere the monster you helped is watching over you.
Journey's End
